Animation - 8th Grade Technology Class

New to Advent Lutheran School this year,  Animation. The students are using Frames5 software program to make short animations. The students started by making on old fashioned "Flip Book" then converted that into the sample animation you see below, created by Joey M.

Collaboration! Communication! Critical Thinking! Creativity!
Students had a great time making their videos. First they had to come up with a story for the video. Next came building the characters with Lego's, Clay, or other materials. Creating the background, getting sound effects, and adding a background music score. Once all the pieces were ready, the real fun began with taking a camera shot of every motion of their characters for their stories. Enjoy!
